Yes this is my first time getting married hard part is pay the Marriage payment

It’s funny because our plans have changed since my last reply to this post. We canceled all of our main wedding plans and are now eloping in Hawaii instead. I’m so relieved because it feels like a weight of stress lifted off of my shoulders as soon as we paid the deposit on the elopement package. So excited!!

View Quoted Comment What marriage payment? Why do they need to pay for your marriage? Did they offer to help pay for your wedding? You don’t want to get married if they don’t pay ? I’m sorry but that seems childish. It’s you and your fiancé’s responsibility to pay for your wedding. If family helps , then great. But ultimately it’s your day. Your responsibility.

Ok. It’s getting real now. T minus 34. Got hair and makeup trial on the 11th Sept of all dates. The next couple of weeks marriage license on September 16 and Bachelorette September 24 weekend. Drop off stuff to florist and church. Meet with venue two weeks out. Final up cake flavor, etc. Pay balances. I feel like I’m forgetting stuff and having dreams about it. There isn’t much left to do and I guess I’m worried about COVID but only having 65 people max. I’ve got to breathe... lol

October 16th here. Jut got an email from our florist. He's saying the price of flowers is going up and we may have to re-visit our budget. So add that on to the all of the other things I'm anxious about.

View Quoted Comment Yes we signed a contract. It states that our arrangements can fall between certain price points. We did check into the increase in the price of flowers and it’s not something that’s made up.
We are lucky we were going to have a larger wedding but have cut our guest count in half. Which cut our tables in half, etc, etc.
