October Honeymoon 2023

We are going to Sandals Halcyon Beach in St. Lucia next October. We are staying in their highest level room and for a full week all-inclusive are only dropping about $7k which I think is really reasonable. I believe their least expensive rooms run about $3.5k for the week.

We're planning our honeymoon for the end of October next year and trying to figure out where to go.

We're leaning toward Italy or France but worried it'll be too cold for beaches. Our exploring and adventure plan is wineries, ha!

We went to a Sandals in Jamaica late October through early November and loved it! The weather was great the whole time, it was all inclusive, and there was plenty to do!

Check out Costa Rica! My husband and I went there for part of our honeymoon, and we loved it! We stayed at an all-inclusive resort on the ocean, and also did an excursion. The hotel had multiple pools to lounge by. We also watched monkeys climb around the area! There are a lot of excursion options in Costa Rica: hiking to waterfalls, ATV tours, volcano tours, horseback riding, white water tubing, ziplining, etc.

We were originally supposed to do 8 nights in Hawaii (4 on Oahu and 4 on Maui) for our honeymoon in 2020, but because of COVID, we had to postpone both our wedding and honeymoon to 2022. When we went to re-book our honeymoon, prices on Maui had increased quite a bit and we couldn't justify the cost, so we decided to switch our plans to do 4 nights on Oahu and 4 nights in Costa Rica (with an overnight flight in between the two).

I'm also happy to give more info on my experiences at either location if needed. I'm sure that no matter where you choose for your honeymoon, it'll turn out to be awesome!

We thought about doing San Diego but now idk bc my work has cut our hours and unless I get a 2nd job or my work picks back up we will have to change our plan. I just refuse to do Gatlinburg bc everyone in my state for some dumb reason goes there (I live in Kentucky). My fiance and I are trying to go somewhere new (easier for me bc I've not traveled a lot)

We are big time country folk. We are getting married and having our honeymoon in Gatlinburg TN. We have a cabin off of Air BnB for 7 days. We enjoy hiking, shopping, horse back riding in the Mtns, White water rafting. There is a ton to do if you're looking for adventure but not a beach of course. We decided to trade the beach for the mountains for our honeymoon.

We are going to a cabin in North Carolina for a week in the middle of October

We are doing cruise to the Caribbean.

I think we decided to go on a cruise before the wedding with my cousin and her husband so it will be so much easier because we have never been on a cruise

We have booked a cruise that is almost like a rock music festival on the boat. The cruise goes from Miami to the Dominican Republic. It is 5 days adventure The cruise is organized by the Coheed & Cambria band.

My husband and I used a travel agent for the resort reservations and transportation to/from the airport, though we booked flights and the excursion ourselves.
