Do you think that i should get blankets for other guests as well? other than the grandparents there arent a ton of elderly people.

what do you think the risk is that it will be really cold? october could go either way.

i found some nice ones for the Grandparents from ikea for $17 and then there are cheap gray ones for $4 that i could put a basket together for other guests.

do you think this is too much? they wouldnt really be favors as i already have those and a dessert bar with boxes

purple one is the one for the grandparents and matches my colors.

I think they would be a nice touch if they aren't going to blow your budget. Maybe just make sure that people know your wedding is outdoors and that they dress well for it!

I went to a wedding last year in mid september, and it was about 50 degrees out, it was at the beach in southern NH so that made it feel even colder but everyone was freezing!!

It is a nice gesture to provide for the elderly guests, but I don't think it's necessary for everyone. I am so over summer... 60 degrees sounds perfect to me right now! Smiley smile If you've got mostly New Englanders attending, they should understand the swing of October weather in MA (it could be 55, or 80), and prepare themselves accordingly.

You could also get them a nice, wool blanket to keep as a gift and memento. If it's in your budget, you can embroider the corner with something meaningful.
