Hey Everyone! I am getting married 10/17/2020 in North Carolina and as of right now we are riding it out. I am just so nervous and anxious because I don’t want to reschedule or cancel at all but his family are having to come from out of town and the health of everyone is important . It has definitely been a struggle with this virus adding more stress. I am just interested to hear other opinions on this whole thing and possibly what you guys are doing especially if your wedding is around the same time as mine.

My fiancé and I are getting married on 10/10/2020 in Georgia. We stepped out on faith and ordered our invitations. We’re planning on going ahead even if we have to make adjustments. Just praying that whatever our new normal is by then will allow all of our guests to come and they will feel comfortable doing so!

Same boat as you! I have the major vendors booked as well but the issue is, i haven’t looked into or decided on decor/centerpieces. I’m supposed to be collecting stuff through spring and summer but I honestly don’t even know! 😔 I put everything on pause also. Back up plan is B) reschedule or C) backyard wedding. What is yours??

We too are in North Carolina and our date is9/4/20. We too are just playing it by ear and waiting. Also we have out of town guests coming who are also older. If for any reason we can’t do September 4th we are going to postpone to 2021. We don’t want a winter wedding. Good luck to us both.

January 9th 2021 is my date and I'm honestly terrified. We have a couple backup dates in the beginning of May for next year, as we have to work around my school schedule, but have been unable to contact our venue or vendors about it to see if they are available. We only have about 110 people on the guest list, but it would be extremely difficult to cut that number down since it's 95% family.

My fiancé and I talked about it yesterday and he said if we have to narrow the number down then it will suck but we will just have to do it.

I honestly don’t even wanna spend money on crazy decorations anymore. A few signs here and there but guest will understand we didn’t have time since the whole world is closed! Our plan B if we get post poned is to get married with family at my lake house this October, and then do the big wedding next year. We would be satisfied with the small elopement but I love my vendors and wanna use them and wanna see all my friends and family together eventually. Plus if we don’t open I prolly won’t get my bridal shower or bachelorette party and I still want those!

That's what I'm worried about too! Sure everything will be open, but would we be irresponsible by still having out wedding in October.

Hi there! My wedding is a day after yours and I am pretty much doing the same. Just wait and see what happens. The only thing I did was contact all vendors and make sure they provide with a full refund or an option to reschedule. I do continue to plan and do everything I had in mind because in the end, we do not know what's going to happen. Good luck to us both! lol Smiley smile

Getting married same day in Florida. We're waiting it out. I spoke with my venue last week and they seem to be positive about keeping the original date. We shall see!

Hey girl! I am getting married 10/24/2020 in NC as well. We just heard that Dare county is beginning to re-open May 16th. We are anxious to resume our planning but excited and optimistic that everything will be back to “normal” by then.

Hi! I’m planned to get married on Sept 26. We are also planning to still have our wedding. We would hate to cancel. But we decided if we cannot have our reception, we will still get married but plan a big honeymoon when we can travel !

Mine is also in October. I have been feeling nervous but I have positive hopes that all this will be over...as for trying to plan during this virus is another story! I don't feel like i have enough time as it is. I had my date and venue already set before the virus - which i feel is lucky - but i have not been able to meet with them in-person and look around to try to imagine what it will look like. I'm also being a little hopeful that the weather will be somewhat still warm (our date is the 24th!) bc I wanted the ceremony to be performed outside in the gazebo Smiley smile Am I crazy...don't answer that. Haha

October 25th here - we are waiting it out! Our wedding is in Albany, NY and we are hopeful as it was not terribly hit.

What is everyone doing for invitations and the potential of having to limit the number of people? Are you sending to all then just notifying people when the time comes (what can ya do🤷🏻‍♀️) or are you only sending your limited number first and increasing as we hear? We have an A list and a B list, so we were hoping to send the A list out earlier to be able to send the B “on time.” Thoughts?

I was wondering about our invitations as well. We are down to three months left and I think that's a great idea to send out limited number and then increase as we go! Not that I have much time to wait but just in case!

November 14, 2020 bride here. I am planning my wedding day by day for Arizona. I have my family coming from Illinois. I keep having people ask if I'm going to postpone, and that really puts a stress on me because I have already spent a lot of money for my wedding. I dont want to think about the virus, but I still do. I even had a weekend job for a short time to pay for my wedding venue, that is how dedicated I am to wanting my wedding and to be married. I am keeping positive and dont like thinking about Covid-19 during this time. I wish everyone positivity during this time.

Getting married the same day in Michigan! We are riding this thing out for as long as we can! I've waited a long time for this day and I've done a lot of planning. We're not changing our plans until we have to!!
