Lol! It doesn't feel short, but looking back it is alot of progress in a short time. Have about 25 lbs more Id like to get rid of before October. The only down side is I literally dont see any difference. I feel like my body looks the same, but surely thats just in my head. Anyhow, thank you!
Congrats! I’ve lost about 25lbs over the past year or so but nothing major since starting my wedding planning. Right now I’m just glad I’ve been able to keep it off! My eating habits have been all over the place so I’m happy I haven’t started gaining it all back
He got a personal trainer because he was terrible at having motivation to workout, and also he wasn't sure how to work out "correctly" for his body. The splurge on his trainer is one of the best decisions we ever made, he couldn't have done it without him! He was going to personal training once a week and then exercising on his own an additional 2-3 times per week (so total 3-4 times per week). He still goes to the trainer once a week for maintenance, but he only works out on his own about 1 time per week now (in addition to the trainer session).
In terms of diet, he completely cut out sugar (he has a HUGE sweet tooth so this was a huge sacrifice for him but I also think made a huge difference), and cut back on carbs--mostly just started having salads for lunch instead of sandwiches. His trainer said the best thing to have when you're trying to lose weight is to eat primarily chicken and vegetables.
Also the hours you eat are also important... not sure how relevant this is for you or others, but husband has always been a breakfast-skipper and a late-night-snacker, both of which are HORRIBLE for your metabolism. Now he eats breakfast within the hour after getting up, and once it's been 12 hours since breakfast, no more eating until the next day (so usually he'll eat breakfast around 9am, and then he doesn't eat anything else after 9pm)

I know exactly how you feel! I lost 14 pounds since September 2017 and have successfully kept it off, but I still see the same girl 14 pounds ago! Keep going you’re doing great! Im sure you’ll start to notice a change soon!

My FMIL and I run a cardio drumming class on mondays, and just started another on tuesdays, and I go to the gym sporadically. I also started seeing a dietitian and using my fitness pal, and drinking smoothies with fruits and veggies I don't eat!

That's awesome! The eating late was a tough one for me, but made a huge difference. I used to skip breakfast and sometimes lunch then eat a huge, late dinner a sweet or 2 and maybe a snack. I started eating lunch a little later in the day and not eating the sweets/snacks after dinner and i also try not to eat after 8 anymore and its made a huge difference.
