Hello all my wedding is June 2020 and the problem I am having is finding an officiant to marry us. My pastor of the church I was raised in wont do it because we dont attend church. I did find a pastor who branched off our of the church I grew up in but he wants to do a 6 week marriage course I didnt mind it but my fiance is against it. How can I find someone to marry us ughhhhh.

My fiance and I are in somewhat of a similar boat. I grew up strictly Catholic, and he was Lutheran but doesn't follow that faith too closely. We are having an outdoor ceremony, which Catholic churches don't allow for their priests to officiate. Our wedding is also June of 2020, so we'll be scrambling to get someone soon!
