So we live in MA and my grandfather can legally marry people in MA but we are getting married in CT. What do we do to get him "day of" rights in CT? I'm clueless how to go about this and really want him to marry us!

It doesn’t look like CT does “day of” rights the way MA does but it looks like he could get ordained through an online site and that would count.

I would talk to the court in the town you are getting married in to see what he would need to do. They would know better than anyone else or the Internet.

I agree with Veronica. I would call the court in the town and talk to them. otherwise you guys could do a legal marriage in the state of MA and then have your ceremony in CT. thats what my DH and i did.
