Oh you didn't get your invite?

..you probably aren't invited. Some random relative of FHs just wrote on FMILs Facebook wall that she didn't get her invite so is she invited and where is the hotel block. On her public Facebook wall! I feel so bad that FMIL has to deal with it and can't believe people have the nerve to do this....

/end rant/

Have obnoxious RSVP issues? Let them out!

We have had 2 situations, based off the STDs. Invited haven't gone out yet.

    1. FHs cousin's child wrote a letter to FHs son saying how excited she is to see the son at our wedding. It's a kid free wedding :/

    2. My cousin from Bermuda told my aunt that she is coming and bringing her aunt, my elderly cousin who I've seen 2x in the past 30 years and who literally didn't remember me last time I saw her. She actually said "I have no memory of you but I guess you are Heather's sister (I am, so apparently she remembers my sister).

It wouldn't be an issue but I'm limited to 88 people, and we have 88 on our invite list.

Ugh I understand. We had huge drama from FH family being insulted that we didn't invite certain family members because FH never speaks or sees them. Like ever. We tried explaining that it's close friends and close family.

Apparently family is a family and you can't pick and choose who to invite, no matter how close or often you talk??? People are ridiculous

We had a relative relay the message through DH's mom that they hadn't received an invite. I felt bad, so I went ahead and sent one. But for what? Apparently nothing. Lol They didn't come to the wedding. Didn't RSVP. Didn't even call to congratulate or send a card or anything. I guess they just wanted the satisfaction of knowing that had been invited!

Shelby b- we tried to send a invite to some relatives that were apparently hurt beyond repair. Explaining we didn't think they cared that much about it and we didn't try to hurt their feelings. But no response or even message back. Again we haven't spoken to these people in years.

Sad when they can't act like adults.

I had that happen too. An old friend posted on my Facebook wall with her address for her wedding invitation. I hid the post. About three weeks later, she posted again to let me know that her invitation must have been lost in the mail because she hadn't received it yet. I sent her a PM telling her that she wasn't going to be receiving one because of space issues. She was so mad, she posted a rant on her own wall and tagged me in it. I deleted her as a friend. Don't need that shit.

How do people have no sense of privacy?? Is it really that much harder to send a private message rather than write a wall post?

So update because I went for a hike with FMIL today and this woman had emailed, texted and face booked the message in less than 12 hours! Apparently she was cool about it and understood but seriously. People are bat shit crazy.

At a friend's wedding, an old friend of mine asked when my wedding is, and her husband put it in his calendar in front of me. They're not invited, but they made comments about it all night long and clearly expect an invite. However, they didn't even bring a wedding gift to my friend's wedding, so I sincerely doubt they really want to buy plane tickets to attend mine. People just get soooo weird about weddings.

Coworkers who I barely speak to asking me "Am I invited?" Ummm if you have to ask the answer is no lmao. Like wth?? Or friends that assume their child is in my wedding o_O Why do you think that? I've decided to just stop discussing my wedding with anyone.

I am so tired of people expecting an invite! If I don't have your phone number or we are coworkers that don't talk outside of work no you are not coming.
