Old myths

I am. I am doing it purely because it seems kind of fun aha and for the hell of it.

Totally forgot that was a thing and my wedding is in 6 days so I guess nah, I don't think I am haha.

I am! Just because it is fun and why not? Lol. My garter is my something blue, I will have my grandfathers ring somewhere (probably tucked into a pocket i'll have added inside my dress, which will be my something old and something borrowed, and then my something new will be anything really!

I am. I don't actually think that anything will happen if I don't, but I think it's a fun decision.

I read the meaning of each and it is kind of fun... 😁😁 but let me tell yall i do want to get thee something borrowed from a happy marriage and 😁 maybe my parents ☺

I'm (minorly) stressing about this actually! Where/what the heck am I supposed to do for something old?? How old does it need to be to be considered old? LOL Luckily, my birthstone is aquamarine, so if I choose to do something blue I would probably do jewelry with my birthstone. Why would I want to borrow something from someone? It just seems unnecessarily difficult to me

I am for pure fun - and I truly love all of my things.

I am just for fun. New- dress, borrowed- cousin's earrings and veil, blue- shoes. Still haven't figured out my old yet but I might sew a piece of my mom's veil inside my dress.

I am! My something old is my garter, my mom made it out of lace from my grandmother's wedding dress. My something new is my dress. My something borrowed is probably my earrings, my mom bought them because she knew they would match, I have a sneaking suspicion that she really likes them for herself and will want them back. Lol, it's fine because I can't wear fancy earrings often. My something blue is the soles of my shoes (Blue by Betsey Johnson). The end of the rhyme is "and a six pence in her shoe". So good luck finding that. I hear you can order them on Etsy.

Almost everything I have is either new or vintage, so I've got those covered. I want to do a blue garter. The only thing I'm borrowing, though, is a cake cutting set. I really don't want to borrow any of the things I'm wearing.

New- My dress

Blue- My garter

Borrowed- My sisters veil.

Definitely doing this! I love all of the traditional things, my sister already bought me earrings to wear so that will be my something new, my mom has been hinting about a bracelet for my something borrowed, my something blue is this beautiful anklet I got from a Native American tribe, and I have no idea for my something old, I guess we will see.
