Omg freaking out. 😓😓

Sabrina, on July 14, 2019 at 2:44 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16
My day is only 40 days away and my bridesmaid didn't have money till now for her dress well the dresses are sold out!! Won't be getting more till August 27th when my day is the 24th... I don't have a clue of what to do! My moh already has her dress so I can't change the dresses.... Do I just let them wear the same color?

If you can get a different dress in the same colour, I’d do that. Chances are no one will notice, or if they do they’ll just think you opted for letting them get dresses which suited them best anyway - it won’t matter at all.

It’ll be ok, just have her choose a dress in the same color that she can get before the wedding with time for any alterations. I think different style dresses have become extremely popular and I prefer it this way since not everyone has the same body type. They can choose what they feel must comfortable in and what looks best. The last wedding I was in there were 5 bridesmaids and we were just told a color and it had to be long, we didn’t even order the dresses from the same boutique and although there were slight color differences you couldn’t really tell and it all worked out.

If it's the same color and length it'll be fine!

I dont know what style dress you need or the budget your bridesmaids have, but I had trouble finding an appropriate junior bridesmaid dress for my tall and thin 12 year old. I found a seamstress on etsy who is charging under $100 and its custom made for her measurements. Her turnaround is 2-3 weeks. Good luck!

    1) Relax & BREATHE
    2) A store MIGHT have a sample in the dress colour and style. It might need to be more substantially altered tho & could look not as fresh, but might be given at discount.
    3) Let the girl wear a dress in the same colour, they don’t Have to match style wise, same colour length & strapless or not is okay.
    4) Look on eBay and other secondhand retailers for the dress.
    5) BREATHE NOW BREATHE AGAIN. It WILL be okay.

Dont stress it. Just have her wear the same color. That is super popular right now that everyone has mismatching dresses anyway. And it looks beautiful

You dear lady. You definitely do not need more stress in your life right now, so hope the previous answers have helped. Same color and length. Different styles. Seems popular. And all the wedding photos I am seeing with this are looking amazing. There is hardly ever one dress that will look good on all the maids. It will all work out. Best wishes to you.

If its only the two of them then I would definitely just give her the color and let her pick what she wants. Or try to find the dress pre owned maybe?

Having different dresses is pretty popular right now. You can request same color and possibly the same length if some kind of similarity is important to you. My moh and bridesmaid are picking their own dresses, one in each of my wedding colors because they know their bodies and what looks best on them far better than I do.

I would also check places like Poshmark for secondhand dresses! You might get lucky and find just the one you need for a cheaper price.
