On or off?

On or off? 1

So these lanterns are apart of our centerpieces.. They will be on top of a circle wood piece. We will also the a rust color cheese cloth underneath, baby’s breath and eucalyptus to go around it then and the circle acrylic table number signs. My question is would you think it’s weird to not have the fake candles turned on at the table ? The barn where our reception will be has so many string lights already and the candle in the lantern is like a orange color that I’m not really a fan of 😩

I personally would wonder, if it's an evening wedding, what the point is having a lantern on a table if it's it's not "lit".

The reception starts at 6pm in a barn .. I just hope the orangish color doesn’t look to weird with my decorations and the white string likes in the barn 😩

I think it might seem strange not to have them on, I am sure it will look fine, plus you'll be so busy on the big day running around you won't even notice that the color of the lanterns aren't your favorite. Trust me the day will go so fast you'll be lucky if you'll even have time to notice anything. Lanterns will be the last thing you think about.

Like the other ladies, I think it best to have them lit. You may not love the color, but I bet your guess will love the ambiance they bring. Don't worry to much. Nothing will ever go exactly as planned but you can still enjoy your evening. Congratulations!

You certainly don’t have to turn them on. The orange light is a warmer tone so it could look cute with the rest of the lights giving them a little bit of a different tone. You can also set things up turn them on and if you don’t like it. Then turn them off

If you decide you want them on, I suggest assigning that job to someone. We had fake candles and real candles on our tables and we forgot to have anyone light either of them up!! Our barn had string lights also, and I don't know that anyone noticed that the lanterns and candles weren't lit up.
