On-site Barber Recommendations? Philadelphia/south Jersey Area

Katie, on August 13, 2019 at 12:19 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 4

Hello hive mind! Looking for recommendations in South Jersey/Philadelphia area for a Barber/Men's Hair Stylist to come on-site to the hotel for the groom and his groomsmen on the morning of our wedding (June 13, 2020). My FH is a bearded man that shaves his head and I'd love to have him treated to a nice close head shave, a neck clean up, and beard trim/shape the morning of the wedding. Bonus that he has a number of bearded groomsmen as well that would love a shape up and nice neck clean. I've gone through the vendors that are listed and filtered by "men's grooming", but so many don't actually offer those services. Thanks in advance!

I would start looking into barber shops in your area and just go in and inquire about it. Does he have a regular barber shop he goes to? Try going there and ask them if they do/would be willing to go to X location and do X for X amount of men on your wedding day.

That's where we're stuck, unfortunately, he usually does it himself

Ah, ok. Well still I would google barber shops in your area and call around and ask. Also I would ask whoever is doing your hair, they may know a barber who would be willing to do it.

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Katie!

This is such a sweet idea!

As this isn’t super common, it may be the case they don’t advertise it, but it’s something they would consider!

I would definitely recommend you reach out to the different barbers you found on the WeddingWire vendor directory with an email, and see if it’s possible. To save yourself time, you could write a generic email with the details and copy and paste it and send it via the form on their storefronts. All you have to do is sit and wait for the replies to come rolling in Smiley smile
