One night bachelorette parties

For those who had a lone night in or out on the town the night before the wedding as was the norm in generations past, what did you do? Go out to dinner, bowling, karaoke, bar hopping, spa, etc or stay in and have a sleepover?

The night before the wedding I slept at my parents house and went to bed early so I could be well rested for the big day. I would not recommend having a bachelorette the night before.

Mine was a game night, so we had brunch and then played board games for hours.

The night before the wedding, we had a welcome dinner, no rehearsal. I didn't party after because I worried about looking worn and bloated on the big day.

I think I would want to do a sleepover/pizza party/movie night. Then we can stay there overnight, have our wedding stuff there already, and be able to easily get ready the next day!

I’ve literally never been to a bachelorette party the night before a wedding. I think that would be a horrible idea. I have, however, been to a single night event for a bachelorette (typically in the weeks or months leading up to the wedding). It’s usually just been a night of barhopping in some sort of rented transportation (party bus, stretch hummer, etc.).
