One point bustle

My seamstress felt like this bustle with just one loop and button would work best with my dress. I’m a wedding photographer, but I’ve honestly never seen just one point. Anyone else having a bustle like this? She just pinned it to show me, we know it’s slightly off center.

I also had a one point bustle with my sheath dress. there were two points that were beads and loops on the end of the dress for reinforcement. held up for the entirety post ceremony (4 hours) and never needed to refasten. it looks nice with your dress, very elegant. with mine it looked extra dramatic cause the back drama but at least it was out of the way and i didn’t have to worry when i was dancing all over the place

My dress is going to have a one point bustle just like this one! My seamstress said that it is more likely to break if I don't sit down properly so she also put in a French bustle as a backup.

I think your seamstress is right...that bustle looks great with your dress!

My dress has a one point bustle, i ahve a very short train and not a lot of fabric so it works fine with mine. It depends on the weight and how much fabric to determine if it will work.

This is how i'm doing mine, I like it simple like this. I've seen some with multiple points & I just really don't like those.

Dance around a bit to see if it would hold steady :-) Love the color and dress detail

I think it's absolutely beautiful! My dress also had a one point bustle (though our styles are different, so i'm not sure if that helps).

The gown is beautiful, and I love the one-point bustle on it. Do you like it?

ALL of the weddings I have been to recently I have seen this bustle. I am getting the exact same on because my dress looks like it fits similar to yours. Mine is a fit and flare and the one point I have been told looks the best with this type of dress!

My sister had one like that where it was just one spot to hook it but there were 2 buttons at that same spot so each one had half the weight on it. It worked perfectly
