Online RSVP... Help with Cute Note to Guests

found my prince, on January 19, 2017 at 12:41 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 11

Hi Everyone!

I'm using anrsvp.com instead of mailing them.

There's a section to add a note to guests and it is displayed as they type in our website address

I thought it would be a cute idea to include some sort of note for them to see as our main page is displayed...

Something like "We Can't Wait to Celebrate With You" or maybe "Feel Free To Leave Us a Message!

Any Ideas? or is that corny? jaja

Thanks a million!

Yesenia!

You're not mailing your invites at all? I'm going to guess that you are going to have to touch base with a lot of your guests.

Jessie, we are mailing invitations... but the RSVP will be done online.

The invitation will be mailed, the back of the invitation will read:

We look forward to celebrating with you!

Kindly RSVP online by June 3rd at:

    yesiandcuit.anrsvp.com

so when they go to our website... I'd like for some sort of cute note that shows up on our main page.

    any ideas?

You need to have paper RSVPs too. I'm sorry, but I won't remember to RSVP if it's online. I won't look at your wedding website and I'll forget unless I have a physical card to send.

The majority of the weddings I'm going to this year have paper invites with online RSVPs, and we're doing it that way as well.

I honestly prefer it so much. A paper RSVP I'm sure to lose, online is easy as pie to find.

I had the same trouble coming up with some kind of nicety for my wedding website RSVP section... though I will say, I agree with @Jessie, some sort of physical card might be helpful for your less-than-tech-savvy guests. I know my poor grandma can barely manage her e-mail.

I don't think that I've ever checked the back of a wedding invitation to see if there was writing on it. I would suggest to include a separate rsvp card with the info.

For less techy friends, a simple phone call will do. That's what I'm doing for my grandma who doesn't have internet.

    Thanks everyone for your help!

its a small intimate backyard wedding... very close friends and family... 48adults, 4 teens, 2 kids...

most we know they'll go for sure! All are computer/tech savvy... no grandmas on either side unfortunately (we're both in our 40's) the RSVP is more of a formality really.

But I agree I was worried they might not look at the back of the invitation...

it's not a lot of people, and we see everyone often... so we'll just let them know by word of mouth.

**the guests can leave US a note when they are RSVP'ing... i was thinking of saying:

"We can wait to celebrate with you!"

"Leave us a note, wishes or even a song request"!

    what do you think?

I like the "We can't wait to celebrate with you!" We're saying "We are so grateful to have you in our lives and can't wait to spend our special day with you!"

I wouldn't worry about online RSVPs with such a small wedding. It's nice to give both options, but if I only had one, I would personally prefer that option.

P.S. What about an enclosure card instead of writing it on the back of the invite? You know the enclosure cards that say "details" and then have the address, directions, etc?

I'm also planning to use an online RSVP, and I don't think that's too corny... I may include something similar, I think it should be fine!

    I am also having

my guests RSVP online. But I am also including an RSVP card in my invitation with options. The 1st option is to go on our wedding website. The 2nd is to shoot us an email at our joint email address, and the 3rd option is for those who are not exactly computer savy. They can call me directly. Provided just one phone number. I don't think we are going to have too many people who will chose this option.
