Online RSVP

For all of the people I'm inviting that I'm allowing to bring a guest, I just put their name as "guest" in the household, that way when they rsvp online they enter their name and have the option to rsvp their guest at the same time. I hope that makes sense.

I'm also just deciding whether or not to use online RSVP and comparing the knot with wedding wire and brides (so far wedding wire looks like the most reliable).
My big question is, say for example that my last name was Smith. About 20 people in my extended family (split up into 5-6 households) also have the last name Smith, but they are in different households. The John Smith family, the Mike Smith family, etc. Is it confusing for them to RSVP? Does a whole list of Smiths come up for them to choose from?

I cant figure out how to enable the meal option when you go into the edit house hold section and select a specific guest. i can see the meal choices under the rception section but not the meal section under the ceramony

I just had someone who previously rsvped yes that they were coming. Something has come up and they won't be able to make it. Is there a way to change their response?

My husband and I lost a lot of money because there we confirmed arrival. Recommends that you do so with a reliable company . How do I get the RSVP page to appear? I have added a custom page and it tells me that the RSVP page has been added but I cannot see it

You can change their response but they cant go back to the RSVP section and change it.

go into your guest list. click on the household. click on that persons name and you can edit the selection.

I am also having trouble finding this "app" button. Anyone have any tips as it seems like maybe weddingwire has updated since the original discussion in 2011
