Does anyone have knowledge of steaming their wedding live online? With our wedding being across the country, we thought this might be a fun way for some friends back home to watch us exchange vows. Does anyone know of an affordable option for this?

You can also check out free services offered by Ustream.com and Livestream.com. These sites will tend to stream at a little higher resolution and will not have the audience size limitations. The downsides are ads played during the wedding and needing to have all of your own equipment (camera, laptop, capture card, internet connection) plus someone to man the camera.

Our service includes basically everything you need to stream online, including an onsite videographer and portable broadcasting gear that makes it possible to shoot from outdoor venues. You also receive HD streaming quality, no ads, unlimited viewers, tech support and much more. Cost-wise, since we are taping all the footage, we can actually double as your wedding videographer so you may not have to hire another vendor to edit your wedding video. When you look at it that way, the additional cost to stream may not be as much as you think.
