Only for those whose wedding is in 2022

If your wedding is in 2022 have you done anything for your wedding yet? All I’ve done is work on a budget but everyone keeps asking me questions but at least this time I’ve just been saying we haven’t gotten that far in planning. Should we have more planes already?

    Hi Celina,
Your wedding date idea is really cool.
We're planning for May 2022. No vendors are booked yet, but we know which venue, photographer, and potentially caterer we want to book. I'm hopefully we get to do a venue tour in January 2021 - we want to make 100% sure that we want this specific venue first. The wedding will be just outside of New Orleans which makes it a "destination" wedding for us and family. I've also been DIYing a lot and buying decor on clearance. I'd say you're right on track because there is still so much time.

We're planning on January 2022 and so far don't have any vendors booked, but are about to sign the contract for our venue. Since we are in Colorado, January weddings are less popular and most vendors seem to be completely open. However, I am a little stressed about booking things soon due to COVID postponements likely continuing into 2022. I really hope we can have a "normal" wedding by then!

We've actually been a couple of times and both our families have roots there, but no one in our families live there anymore. I'm so excited and I agree NOLA awesome! Where are you deciding between? How far of a destination are you considering?

Hey girl! I’m also a 2022 bride! So far, I have pretty much everything done except for music and my hair/makeup. It’s better to be prepared now than have to scramble at the last second trying to find everyone.

My fiancé and I booked almost everything already but it’s because our wedding was initially in 2021 but changed it to 2022. But based on what everyone said it all sounds really good. We started with guest list didn’t really set a budget and just kind of went for what we liked (good thing we had money saved already helped with down payments). So we did:
    Guest list
Venue DJPhotographer/videographer Florist Then.... Budget It worked better this way for us because it allowed us to see how much we have to set aside each month in order to pay it off before the wedding.
    Hope this helps.
