Had the most amazing Boudoir shoot yesterday!! I was nervous but my photographer was so personable and made me feel so comfortable and definitely knew what she was doing, I let her take the wheel and took all her direction, from the few she showed me I was so pleased! All the hard work with my diet and exercise clearly paid off (she even pointed out my “abs” whaaaaat?!)
Added some pics of HMUA and the gorgeous hotel we did the shoot at.
Outfit 1: wore a matching white bra and panty with floor length veil. I did choose to wear my wedding jewelry, wedding shoes and my wedding band in addition to my engagement ring - wish I had time to pick up some flowers!
Outfit 2: strappy black bra and panty with black pumps Outfit 3: lace booty shorts with a comfy shirt that says His Otter Half - gifting to him with his grooms gift experience, so it’s a surprise!
Outfit 4: rose gold colored lace and shine teddy
My tips for other brides:
I took the advice from other brides and got my makeup done. Best. Choice. Ever. Choose MAC and it turned out flawless.
Definitely check the weather! I would’ve gotten sugared the day before had I know how HOT it was plus I planned on walking around in Philly all day. Normally I don’t react but I was so hot and sweaty my underarms got irritated.
And on the weather note... drink water. Lots of water. But don’t eat or drink anything a couple hours before your shoot. I’m glad I did, I didn’t feel “water bloated”
Oh yeah, if you’re nervous have a drink! But keep it light - I stuck with champagne, cheers! All my salon appointments provided it complimentary so I was very chill all day.
Give yourself time. I had special circumstances coming from out of town so I booked my appointments back to back but getting my hair done (cut, color) I cut too it close to my MU appointment so then rushed to a blowout bar to style my hair in 30 mins!!
Most importantly HAVE A BLAST. Just let your body relax and get comfortable, your photographer will know what to do.
