oot bridesmaids for bachelorette weekend

Morgan, on October 7, 2019 at 10:41 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4
My wedding isn’t until May 2020, but 3/5 bridesmaids live anywhere from 300-2000 miles away & are still in college. I originally had a thought that a cruise in December would be best but not sure on anything specific as far as that goes. We’re all new to the wedding scene, so any ideas for a bachelorette party/weekend that’s affordable and can get us all together would be very much appreciated!! 💖

A cruise sounds super fun ! Maybe even just look at a local town where you could Airbnb for cheap or even just having a day of activities would be cool

I would consult everyone's budgets & timelines first! A cruise would probably require a lot of PTO then cost in flights & cruise & drinks & food for everyone. I had 9 bridesmaids, 8 of them lived out of state (I live in Colorado, my bridesmaids live in Colorado, California, Arizona, South Dakota, and Wisconsin). My MOH decided my bachelorette would be in Palm Springs, CA (one of my favorite places) and 6 of my 9 bridesmaids were able to go. The ones from CO, South Dakota, and Wisconsin couldn't make it work (which is totally fine, two of them made it to my CO bridal shower which was super sweet). We stayed in a house all weekend and it was SO fun!

I'm kind of in the same boat! 3/5 are out of state and in college too! My wedding is April 11th. To be honest I'm not even planning on having a bachelorette weekend or trip, I don't want to have to work around all their school schedules. I think my girls and I are just going to spend the day before the wedding together, and we're all staying in the same house the night before the wedding .
I like your idea for a cruise though! I hope you can figure something out.

Cruise sounds super fun! but I agree that it may be expensive with flights and cruise and excursions.

Can you find a medium and do Airbnb closer to them and do a ladies weekend.

Spa night, club, sip and paint, drinks, show etc.
