Open Bar Frozen Drinks?

Anyone ever had frozen drinks at an outdoor wedding? I actually only want one and I guess I would call it my "signature" drink (even though I didn't really want a signature drink). Every summer my mom makes a huge container of Vodka Slushes. They are my favorite and I would love to have them at the wedding - especially because it will be August and hot as balls. I'm trying to think logistics though. I am providing all of the alcohol (full open bar), and mixers so I;m guessing I can bring containers of the slushes already mixed and frozen and the bartenders could just scoop it into glasses. Or would that slow down the lines too much? I'm not sure how I would make sure they stay frozen without having a bunch of coolers to put the containers in. Maybe those metal tubs? Or maybe I can make them into popsicles in those plastic squeeze tubes!

I love frozen drinks. They take longer so I guess it would depend on how many guests you have and how many bartenders.

My mom always had huge 4th of July parties and she'd rent the slushie machines and we would have rum runners and pina coladas. It looked like this :

Can they have a blender at the bar to make them to order? That way there is no open container contamination (or whatever the health code wouldn't allow). I'm not sure I would do slush drinks, it will slow down the line like you mentioned, plus does everyone handle their vodka ok?

The vodka not freezing is what makes it the "slushie" consistency. It isn't blended, it is more like a granita when we make it in containers in the summer. In the popsicle sleeve it won't be frozen solid but it will be like those icee pops that you squeeze and kind of break up into chunks as you eat it.

This is a drink all of my family and friends have every summer when we go to the beach. We don't make them super strong, and people can put it in a glass and top it off with sprite if they want it really weak (or have one of the bartenders top it off with vodka if they want it stronger). I have no concerns about my friends and family holding their liquor - we have a lot of experience Smiley smile

They usually have machines? We just added a double machine and I am so excited! Then they have us 6 pages of drinks we can have and now I'm stressed
