Opinion on powerline weddings

I have these same questions. But from what I can tell by your posts, your fiancé doesn't want his job to be your wedding theme. I would respect his wishes. And just so you know, weddings don't even need to have themes. You can just choose colors or a decorating style. But it's really important that you both agree on all your ceremony and reception elements.

I have performed over 500 weddings as a planner in the last 12 years. I have never heard of a powerline-themed wedding. Sounds like that would be hard to incorporate. Is traditional or even modern traditional out of the question?
