Opinions about myregistry.com...

Goodbye, on March 22, 2013 at 1:26 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3

I love the idea of myregistry.com, but I'm so afraid my family is going to mess it up somehow and that we will receive a lot of duplicates and that it will be more stress than anything.

Has anyone used myregistry.com? Pros? Cons?

I've only been able to find older reviews about it and most of them aren't so great...

I started to use it. My mom didn't understand it at first. She ordered flatware I had listed from knork.net but didn't understand at first that she had to go back and mark it as purchased. She finally figured it out on her own though.

Amazon.com also has the option for a universal registry. I didn't realize that until later nor that you can't sync BBB registries with myregistry. So I closed my myregistry and added everything to the amazon.com registry.

    Hi Ann!

I too have a registry set up and thought my family would have issues as most are not technology friendly but they've said they've found it so easy to use. Kinda funny to hear that my 76yr old grandmother is "on-line" as she says.

I didn't even have to walk anyone through anything. Personally, during this hectic, yet exciting time, I find anything that makes my life alot easier, a real lifesaver.

I highly recommend it! Smiley smile
