Hi ladies. Our wedding is October 17th 2020. Were having it in the country at a lake and cabin. Itll be rustic. Our colors originally were navy blue and burgundy and white. My mom, thinks it should be navy blue and silver. I dont really like it. My maid of honor is helping me plan and sent some more ideas including navy blue and plum, orange and navy blue. Fiance likes navy blue and burnt orange. I like it but I'm not sure how I really feel about it. Any opinions?? Also, if I went that route what about sunflowers or something else?

I would stick to the color palette you love because it's your wedding! Sunflowers would look gorgeous with the original color palette

You and your FH need to come to a compromise, not your MOH or your mother. I personally wouldn't do sunflowers with any of these color palettes.

Burgundy is beautiful. My friend is doing burgundy with navy if that sounds like something appealing to you? A fusion of what you and your fiance want.

I getting married this October and my colors are navy blue and rose gold with accents of gray and burgundy. Go with what you like!

Personally I think navy/silver makes me picture some luxury hotel wedding. For your setting I definitely feel like your navy/burgundy or navy/orange would fit perfectly! Also like pp suggestion of navy and copper! But at the end of the day, go with whatever you love!

Definitely stick with whatever color scheme you and your FH agree on. I do think however that your original color choice of navy, burgundy and white would look amazing with sunflowers. I scrolled pinterest and found these!

Thank you ladies. I think I'm going to go with burgundy navy blue white and sunflowers! FH agrees with almost whatever I decide and already agreed to these colors so hes fine with it.

I'm doing something really similar for the same time frame. Delphinium, sun flowers (I'd prefer black-eyed Susans but we may not be able to get them), and those yellow roses with red tips. I'm trying to avoid the whole orange and fall thing and lean more towards yellow and blue with a pop of red. We'll also use some greenery and my bridesmaids are wearing dark teal, not navy. I feel your struggle!!
