This is a hypothetical post! My venue requires we do the bar through them, but I'm worried about overpreparing. We have a fairly small wedding, and many of our friends don't drink or drink lightly, but it is a destination wedding, and on a weekend in Hawaii. I don't want to over-prepare, but I also worry about under preparing and having a guest complain wine or beer wasn't flowing.
If I say ordered 6 bottles of wine, and only 3 were drunk, would the venue give me those bottles to take home? What is the typical custom or etiquette on this?
