Our county clerks office closed cuz of covid-19

How far in advance do you need to get your license in your state? In mine it is only a week. However, I know others may be longer.

View Quoted Comment I wouldn't panic just yet. Also, given the craziness going on, would his employer allow him to come in a teensy bit late one day? When we got ours we were literally in and out of the county clerk in 10 minutes. One of us then just had to pick it up a few days later. We're in uncharted territory here, so I think it's best to just take it day by day. I can't imagine how stressful this may be for you, but at times like this, it is important to focus on the things you can control instead of those you cannot.

Do you both have to be there? In the state we live in (KS) we don’t, but what matters is the state that you’re getting married in (for us, MO and we do).
