Our new wedding date has a better ring to it anyway!!!

Love it!! Sorry you had to go through it too but so happy you guys are making the best of it!! New date does have a nice ring!

We also had a 9/19/2020 date and finally made the decision to postpone two days ago. I am still grieving and angry that things couldn't move forward, but I also feel such huge relief. The worry and anxiety of everyone's safety and ability to be there is gone for now. I slept last night for the first time in weeks. Our new date is 9/19/2021, so I still get my "date" just need a little more patience. Since we were only 6 weeks out, majority of the wedding is planned (including most of the timeline, menu, etc.) and the vendors were all (miraculously) available and just slide over to the new date. Everyone was so supportive (on the vendor team). I feel its the universe showing me it agrees with our change in plans. So, this time next year, I will won't have as much to plan and do, which does kind of feel good too. I wish you the best on your new wedding date and I pray we all get the wedding of our dreams on our second attempts!!!!

OMG - that is exactly how I am feeling now. I want to literally punch ppl when I see them without masks at the grocery store, etc. I am not a violent person either so this anger is very new to me. My fiancé said this is out of our control and no one to blame. I informed him there are many to blame and started pointing at ppl. LOL. But I was able to reign it in quickly. But happy I am not alone in my sadness and a little rage. Now, just time to focus on the good that will come out of learning to have more patience with my own expectations. I think that is my lesson for 2020...developing patience and flexibility. XOXO

We changed ours from 8-29-2020 to 8-29-2021 so our countdown went from like 40 to over 400 LOL. But good for you guys, I think we made the right decision. 2021 is where it's at!!!!
