Um no, no one cares where you are. Standard out of office email is fine. Personally, I never do them at all.

AMEN!! The best thing I ever did in planning this wedding was getting off the forums. Mind you, I stumbled across this trying to find out if there was proper wording for the OOO reply. People on here take it way too far.

Out of the office, no one needs to know what you're doing and those who matter will probably already know. Also I will not be looking at my emails or phone calls lol

I totally agree with you about the negative comments. It was a simple question and depends on the company. I work at a company with a culture of sharing your fun trips and why you are out of the office especially when it comes to your family time. The messages on here are rude and appalling. Lets bring each other up rather than put people down!

WOW why is everyone being so rude?! In my company culture, funny OOOs are the norm. I'm definitely putting a silly OOO for my wedding and honeymoon. It's the one time you can; embrace it! And, people care! It gives your clients something to talk to you about.
