I always enjoy getting snacks and a bottle or 2 of water in a welcome bag. Costco or any similar bulk warehouse is great for this kind of thing. As for a snack idea maybe a black and white cookie or yours and your partner's favorite snack would be nice. You can also add a pack of pain reliever, a hand sanitzer, or some mints too. Also nice to include a list some nearby sights, local restaurants, the nearest coffee shop, any info the guest may need about your wedding timeline and transportation (train lines or if there's a shuttle bus etc) and a nice welcome/thank you for coming note. Have fun putting them together!

I am only to the guest staying in the hotel block we will be reserving - the following things are on my list so far: small mini bottle of water, two bags of chips, hangover/headache medicine, packets of crystal light.

Including a bottle of water (or two) and a snack is always a popular idea! You could also put in a map of the area, coupons to local restaurants/attractions/etc, and the wedding day details (date/time/location and wedding website). If the ceremony is outside, you could add sunglasses and/or sunscreen. Otherwise, a deck of cards, pens, small first aid kit, and a welcome note from you and your fiance would all be good things to include!

We are having a destination wedding in Hawaii. Our attendees are spending so much to come and we want them to know it's appreciated. I ordered personalized tote bags with the couple's last name. Inside the bags, I am adding a "Wedding Recovery Kit" with Advil, hand sanitizer, suncreen, Liquid IV. I'll also put in some water bottles, snacks and an inflatable beach ball for the couple who has a small child. I also ordered Turkish Beach towels that I am prewashing and rolling up and tying with twine for a cute presentation.

I'm going to include a list of fun local things to do the day of and after the wedding so guests aren't bored. My wedding is in Reading, PA, so I'll also be including local made potato chips, pretzels, and birch beer. Everyone will receive theirs in a basket instead of a bag (I've been collecting for years).
