We’re having the entire wedding indoors but if I had to have a part of the wedding outdoors it would be the ceremony.

Outdoor ceremony. That’s what we’re having and I’m extremely nervous about the weather for 30 minutes lol. My friend had her reception outdoors and it rained for like 10 min. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t want to risk that

We split the difference and picked a venue that could essentially open up their wall of windows.
This was perfect, because I'm exceptionally prone to sunburn, we got married in August, and we wanted to guard against rain.
It ended up being a beautiful day, the sunset was across the river and lit up our ceremony and reception perfectly. The windows stayed open the entire night, the breeze came in off the river... we had all the nice parts of being outside, and none of the drawbacks.

Ceremony for sure. Reception lasts later and therefore gets colder. I can brave the cold if necessary for a half hour but definitely NOT all night.
