Outdoor ceremony or reception?

Ceremony outdoors and reception indoors. That’s what we’re doing.

I would have rather have the ceremony outside. I’m still debating on if I want the whole wedding outside but I would definitely love the ceremony it be held outside.

Ceremony that's how my wedding is then the reception is in the barn

Preferable both but definitely ceremony

Neither, unless we're in a snow storm. If had to choose it would be based on length of time and temperature. I need cool to cold temperatures to function. If it is hotter outside, then our ceremony would be outside since the reception is longer. Outside normally produces better pictures, so there is the silver lining for dealing with heat.

Ceremony!!!! The fact that there is any possibility of insects in my food, I'd never want my reception outside.

Outdoor ceremony and indoor reception ❤

Indoor ceremony and outdoor reception, which is what we're having. We both want to get married in our church. And we found a venue that is outdoor, with a large pavilion, that we love. It's a little unpredictable with the weather, but I'm hoping I won't have to worry!

Ceremony since it's shorter

For sure the reception, there’s more room for dancing, guests, games(if you have any) etc.

Outdoor Ceremony. It’s much easier to find a Plan B for ceremony than for a reception.

Outdoor ceremony, 100%. My dream venue is up in the redwood forests here in northern California. It gets cold at night here any time of year, so the reception will likely have to move inside no matter what. While both would be nice, it's way more important to me to actually get married under those beautiful trees than it is to party underneath them.

My ceremony is going to be outside, so I'd have to say ceremony! haha

Both parts of our wedding will be outdoors. We'll be having the ceremony on the beach, and then the reception will be at the house we're renting for our stay. It's a small group, so most of the time will likely be spent out on the lawn enjoying the weather.

In a perfect world, why not both. In the midwest? Neither.
