Outdoor dance floor ideas?

My wedding is coming up so much faster than I thought! I am in a bit of a dilemma though. I do not want to pay the outrageous prices of renting a dance floor. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I could use to replace it. I have read posts against having your dance floor in the yard. The entire thing will be outside and mostly under tents but I am concerned about everyone being able to have a good time. Any and all advice would be appreciated!! Thank you!

You could maybe try pallets with plywood nailed to them, but that might not be safe.
I am having a backyard wedding and the reception is under a big tent. I'm renting the dance floor. It is costly, but I think it's worth it.

I have seen some diy dance floors on Pinterest that have came out beautiful. I will post some pics. I hope these help. Good luck.
