Outdoor flooring??

My fiancee and I are just buying our first home and I've always wanted to have a small backyard wedding. My problem now is the backyard to our home is very uneven (we tried looking for a home with flat ground). Is there anyone that can do temporary flooring for events on uneven ground? Or is there a diy solution? Any idea without having to hire someone to completely even out the ground?

I would think about having a civil engineer or landscape architect come look at your property if it’s seriously sloping. Leveling out your property can impede drainage and if the work is performed, it should be done by a professional.

Flooring is more expensive than a tent. The quotes I received were shocking.

I actually already have a tent big enough for the event and if we can have the wedding at home that saves me the cost of a venue. My only worry with spending that money to level the ground is my wedding is in October of 2020 so the grass may not fully grow in by then and the possibility the ground may still be too soft.
