My train is not very long but there is a train. We're putting out an aisle runner for me to walk down so I don't get caught on anything.

🙋 I figure I only wear the dress once and the outdoor ceremony is 30 minutes, most of which I'll be standing still for. So I'm not worried

Me too! Who cares if it gets a little dirt. I only wear it once in my life!

It'll get dirty aha. I didn't really have a long train or big dress but I did have an outdoor ceremony and yes it gets dirty but it's not that bad and it's at the bottom anyway so you can dry clean later on

I had a train and my wedding was outdoors. We were in a woodsy area so i was walking through, gravel, grass, dirt etc. My train was a little dirty by the end of the day but i did not care at all. I kept it clean until after the ceremony but after pictures were done and the reception started i just focused on having fun! You only wear it once!

You can also have someone carry it during your processional if it's long. I have a nine foot veil and this is what I'll do.

Yes....it did NOT go well. Beware, sticks and tulle don’t play well together. But, on the plus side I did get this awesome picture of my bridesmaids pulling dried seaweed out of my train 😂

If you’re on grass or soft sand, it may be no real issue at all. Otherwise, there may be some challenges. I didn’t mind particularly much though, I loved my dress and I loved my ceremony site and it was just the cost of putting those 2 things together Smiley winking
