Hi all! Wondering if anyone has any experience renting a vacation home from Surf or Sound Realty and using it as an event home. They have an event fee and it only allows 50 people, my reception may have more than 50 people and I’m wondering how strict they are with the amount of people at the house? Or how the rental company handles the house rental the night of the event.

The limit may be code related. Check with the rental company if there's any wiggle room on the capacity limit.

I would definitely check with the company about this! They most likely have a maximum capacity for insurance reasons or because of health and safety and you definitely don’t want your wedding to be shut down because you have too many guests in attendance!
