Outside wedding

Where is your wedding being held? If it's at a private residence - our yard gets super buggy with mosquitos in the summer and we use a bug repellent that you spray onto the grass (cheaper DIY alternative to having a yard service do it). It works well and lasts about a month.

Have you asked the venue if they do anything for bugs? Maybe they already have mosquito treatments done during the summer?

Citronella and lemongrass will keep them away

We went to an outdoor reception where there were a lot of mosquitoes. The bride/groom had bug spray at various locations (along with hand sanitizer, etc. for Covid). Nonetheless, it was a lovely reception!

I had my social hour and ceremony outdoors and i can't say i had to deal with a lot of bugs but i have seen a lot of people have those citronella candles around
