Oval Table Centerpieces?

Hey All

FH and I are meeting with the florist we want to work with soon. I am currently researching some centerpiece ideas to go over with him but I'm running into some trouble because

Our Venue has oval tables, rather then round or square. But all the centerpieces I find are either for long family style tables, or round tables. Centerpiece Ideals from a round table might leave too much negative space, I'm thinking.

Has anyone ever worked with oval tables before? Show me your centerpieces!

    Maybe something like this, that spreads the centerpiece out a little but stays in the middle.

    All the rectangle tables I find when I search are the very long ones where its essentially one big table and the centerpieces seem more like runners than a standard centerpiece. Looking for a happy medium and just want to see what other people who deal with this came up with!

    @Steph thats definitely something to consider! I really like that!

    These are mine with antique color roses, and dried lavendar added!

    Maybe do a square shape garland look!

    I have an oval dining table. All you do is make the floral arrangement a little longer in one direction than the other.

    My venue also has oval tables. My centerpieces are going to be in round vases with votive candles on the sides. Inspiration pic
