It was originally my dream to get married in the mountains on National Park land. The federal learership just signed an executive order where masks are required on all National Park land outside!!!! I had already completed a permit application but thank goodness I held off on paying the $300 fee. I'm now giving up on the mountain dream and opting for a city/downtown elopement. There is no way I would want to exchange vows and spend hundreds or even thousands on wedding pictures where my groom and I are in masks in all/most of them. My mom tells me I'm overreacting and that we all should have to wear a mask at all times when we are outside.

1. How are we hurting others without a mask if we are outside and we look to our left and right, back and front, and there's not a person in sight?!
2. Do all of you wear masks when you're outdoors and no one is arounc?
3. Do you plan on wearing a mask during your OUTDOOR wedding?

4. Am I selfish for thinking this way?

    We had masks, it's fine.
For the ceremony, we didn't but the priest and every other guest did.

    1. You’re not hurting anyone by not wearing a mask. Your guests should know the risk ahead of time and they can choose if it’s worth the “risk”. If they decide to go, then you shouldn’t HAVE to wear a mask. Your guests can wear masks if they want, but you shouldn’t have to.
    2. I do not wear a mask when I’m outside unless I’m next to someone and I’m at work (where it’s required). If I’m not required to wear a mask, I don’t.
    3. I do not plan on wearing a mask at my wedding. I was a bridesmaid for an outdoor wedding in October and only 2 out of 70 people had masks on. Definitely no one in the wedding party.

If I'm the last person on earth, you better believe I'm not paying the slightest attention to the posted speed limit.
