I only have 3. DJ, caterer, and venue. Most of the other stuff is being done by family.
Grandma is making the dress and the cake, my aunt is doing photography, my other aunt is the officiant, and yet another aunt is doing my makeup. She was supposed to do my hair too but my grandma is insisting on taking me to her hairdresser, so I guess that actually makes 4 lol. My veil used to be my mom’s. Ceremony and venue is in same location so only one vendor for that

Under. the venue i'm looking at handles alot of that, including the cake!

Wow! That's great that your venue takes care of all of these details! Will you still do like a cake tasting or consultations with their associated vendors? Or do you do everything, your decisions/planning/arranging, through your venue coordinator?

Yes I believe so, I plan to ask that when I set up the appointment for the walk though.

It's a bit iffy where some of you draw the line on what constitutes a vendor, but I'm going with anyone who has to do something on the day. Bridal party gifts or tailoring don't count as vendors IMO.

Hi Jack! Totally true, and sometimes when vendors are friends, otherwise known as "friendors" the lines kindof can be blurry too You have a great vendor lineup here! Only 14 more days until you get to say "I do" and we are so excited for you! Are there any final items left on your todo list before the big day?

And oh yes, there is plenty left to do. I need to....

- find and reserve suits for my groomsmen

- make all our final payments

- write vows

- have FW's ring re-sized

- organise bachelor party

- drop off decor to stylist

- develop engagement photo for sand pouring frame

- get some minor decor items

- arrange cab rank following ceremony & reception

- arrange catering for bridal party lunch as we get ready

Uggh. I'm so over this... it's wedding planning senioritis. You know that scene at the start of The 40 Year Old Virgin where Andy says he really wanted an egg salad sandwich, so he went out to the store and got all the ingredients and boiled the eggs, and made mayo from scratch - and by the time he was done, he didn't want one anymore, because it'd been three hours? That's where I'm at with wedding planning.
