Based on the total ceremony and reception costs, couples end up spending an average of $216 per guest.

Is your wedding budget in the same ballpark? Are you over or under $27,000? *you don't have to share exact numbers!!

We're under 27k for our budget. We had set it at under 16k but we've gone over as we had room in our savings to allow us to do so.

I’m right in that range. My honeymoon is a bit over the average though.

    What in the world?

We didn't budget like that at all.

I believe we are UNDER budget.

    Actual wedding = we said 10K = UNDER @ 5K

$216 per guest? HA! I'm under $75 per guest.

So we are WAY UNDER that 27K budget!

Just a bit over if I'm factoring in everything: venue for ceremony & reception, photographers, DJ & photo booth, flowers, hair & makeup, invitations, gifts for wedding party, engagement ring, our wedding rings, decorations, wedding dress, veil, shoes, and accessories, hotel, party bus for guests to and from venue, and hotel bags.

We're not doing our honeymoon until next spring so that will put us closer to $30K all in.

Oh wow!! That's awesome! How were you able to do that? Did it require more effort or was it pretty easy?

For the ceremony/reception, we were right at 27k (not including the engagement ring or honeymoon but does include wedding bands, ours were fairly inexpensive at $154 for mine and $535 for his).

You never know what may come up or what you'll need to spend more on! Having a bit saved is very smart and I'm sure was super helpful!

I think we are actually right at $27,000 (which is an odd number, lol).

We have help from family, but overall we tried to ball park the total one night and we were definitely over $25,000 and under $30,000. Which, that in itself is crazy because we are just some middle class people trying to make it work. And we haven't totally "splurged" on anything, so I'm confused where all of that money is going these days, lol. I nearly gagged when I realized how much we are spending. That is just under one of our two incomes for our household!

I think we plan to sit down after the wedding and really crunch the numbers because I actually really want to know when it's all said and done.

Our wedding is a small beach wedding with about 20 guests Smiley smile The package we purchased includes the ceremony, flowers, cake, and photographer. We are not having a typical reception, and decided to rent a beach house and have a cookout in its place!! Being as almost everything was included in our package, it was relatively easy to keep under budget!

Our wedding was about 37k total but we had a whole weekend of events.

Saturday - Tea Ceremony/Rehearsal Luncheon for all family (including extended family) and wedding party and spouses

Saturday night - Welcome Party at a brewery for all guests

Sunday - Wedding Reception for 160 guests

Monday - leftover cake and snacks at our home, people coming and going all day

It was an unforgettable weekend with enough time to spend with each of our guests throughout the weekend! Tototally worth every penny.

We are WAY under! We are right around $12.5K including wedding bands and everything else (minus engagement ring and honeymoon) that was wedding related for 140 guests.
