Over or Under: 27k Wedding Budget?

WELL under. I cant imagine spending that kind of money on one day! Heres what Ive spent so far:

My rings: $1600 ($9k Neil Lane set purchased from a jewelry dealer)

His ring: $300

2 Night Castle Stay (our venue) $700

My dress: ($2k Stella York bought 2nd hand) $350

Heels: $30

Hair: (new extensions, new color, plus style) $500

Makeup: $60

Photographer: (3 hours) $150

Officiant: $150

Custom Bouquet & Boutonniere: $120

Mini Wedding Cake: $35

Honeymoon: (5 nights in Jamaica, all inclusive) $3500

Coulda been cheaper Im sure, but Im super happy with what we have planned!

Way under. Final cost on wedding: $1300. About $3500 total on honeymoon (plane tickets and all inclusive 5 night stay in Panama). $9500 total on wedding itself. We had open bar and buffet for 72 ppl. Rings: $0. I didn't wear an engagement ring, and my husband's grandparents gave us their wedding rings to wear. Husband's grandfather passed and grandmother doesn't wear the ring anymore.

We were planning on being, pretty much, right on the cusp on $27k (our original budget was $15k, which my Dad gifted us, but we didn’t realize how expensive weddings can be). But we’ve had ~30 guests RSVP No, which will bring our budget below $27k!

Budget was under (25K) but actual expenses are over.

My FH is paying for our wedding, and he has not set a budget for me to stick to so I'm not sure. We are still to early in the process to tell. As of now I only have our venue booked and that's $8,000. Everything else is still to come, I'm wanting to stay around $30k. But there is not a set cut off.

Wayyyy under over here. $5,000 and keeping to it! It's going to be awesome

I wish that was our budget. Unfortunately, it's over but I also believe the Baltimore area is a bit more expensive than other regions in the country for weddings.

We are definitely under. We are currently at the $8,000 range. We have the venue which is all inclusive, DJ with BOGO lighting, two Photographers, dress, accessories, shoes.
Family is doing the cake, centerpieces etc.
We have to buy the rings, and get the bridal suite, groomsman attire.
It's basically final touches. We have until June 15, 2019!

WAY under. We planned on a $10,000 wedding and so far we are stay way below budget.

Wow 27K!!! That’s a lot of money! I wouldn’t spend that much money on a wedding. I’d rather put that towards my mortgage or car loans. We decided to stay on a 10K budget, to include everything. We are doing a destination wedding at a all inclusive resort and so the 10K includes our one week stay there as well. I know that I will most likely go up to 11K or 12K due to flights and little things here and then. But my dress is gonna be $500 or less, he’s not wearing a suit at all. He’s wearing some casual white Beachy looking shirt and khakis. Anyways, we shall see.

View Quoted Comment Agreed. We are in Charleston and the venue that we picked was 3k m, not bad, but we had to choose one of their 6 exclusive caterers. We are having 75 guests max. We are spending 17k on food, alcohol, coordinator, and rentals. Obviously that includes labor and such but yeah. We will be around 40 when all is said and done.

Under... about $15,000

Budget was originally $25k, but I knew I’d probably underestimated fee categories. Goal was to not exceed $30k - and I think we’ll make it (barely). Now it just all depends on how many RSVPs we get !

now if you add rings & honeymoon —- Wayyy over! We have and will have paid every thing in cash.

Under!!!!! And we are sticking to our guns! When we originally started planning we were getting out of hand and then toned it down decided to do it in Vegas. Now we have less people and it’s much more personal.
