Another honeymoon fun fact: Couples spent on average seven to nine days on their honeymoons! Nine days of rest and relaxation is well worth the cost. Smiley smile

Im not looking to spend a crazy amount on the honeymoon. Im most likely going to go to a Sandals Resort since they are all inclusive. Me and the FH are leaning towards St. Lucia since we have heard great things. Price range is around $4,000 for five days including flight.

Over, we are splurging 11k for an over the water bungalow in st. Lucia for 5 nights. We've been together for so long and we thought we deserved something special for our first trip as husband and wife Smiley smile can't wait!

We haven't booked ours yet, but that sounds about right. We took a trip to Mexico a few years ago that cost us around 3.5-4K.

We are spending around $7500 on our honeymoon to Ireland and Scotland. We decided we'd rather have an awesome vacation and do some cut backs on our wedding.

Over... by a good bit. We are going to Mexico for 12 days. We are staying in a luxury all inclusive with an ocean view room. The hotel is right around $5K and we splurged on business class airfare (1st isn't available on the flight) so that was another $1,350... we are planning on taking about $2K for excursions, shopping, tipping, etc...plus we will have to pay a house/dog sitter to stay at the house... so I guess by the time it's over and done we will be at at least double the $4K mark... but I will admit we are going all out for this trip... It will be FH's first time seeing the ocean and his first time leaving the US. I am looking as forward to the HM as I am to the wedding... not to being married, but the wedding day... maybe more!

With flights and all, we'll be just about under the 4k. Spending $$ not added yet but we are doing all inclusive resorts and pre-booked and paid for activities. Plus we booked the resort, a great resort about 8 months in advance and are getting a bunch of free upgrades because we communicated with them about some honeymoon package stuff and they threw in so much for free.

We'll be under that. We have an excellent travel card and traveled a lot for work last year. We used all points to book our first class RT tickets for Hawaii which saved a lot. Hotel's and excursions will likely put us around 2.5k

Under for us. I booked 5 nights in a Penthouse Suite at Couples San Souci in Jamaica through Cheap Caribbean for $3500. That included our flights and all-inclusive stay. I am soooooo excited! The only must do excursion for me will be horseback riding on the beach. (former Rodeo Queen, barrel racer and trainer here!) Riding on a tropical beach has been on my Bucket List my entire life!

We're going to Burning Man for our "honeymoon." Registration alone can go up to $1200 per person. If my experience with wedding plans says anything, I'm sure the budget for that will get up there as we get closer to the date.

Amanda, I was super intrigued by Burning Man comment so I decided to look it up. I have never heard of this before but it looks very cool. This is also different for a honeymoon. I hope you enjoy!

We will be under. Flights and decent hotel for 5 nights came to $1,800 but we are good at doing budget travel things like inexpensive local food and public transportation. We plan to spend a lot of our time doing free activities like exploring the city and visiting the beach. Only foreseen splurge is behind-the-scenes access at the San Diego Zoo!
