Ever wonder what the average wedding party size is? In 2017, the average number of people in a wedding party was 9. And only 60% of couples still divide their wedding party by gender! How many people are in your wedding party? Are you over or under 9? Photo by KT Merry Photography in Miami 2018...

It was at first. But as the planning progressed and we had a better idea of what we wanted for our ceremony, I realized that the person who stands up there with me needs to be really outgoing and not shy at all. So that easily narrowed it down to 1!

But, since I love all of my girls equally, I’m giving them each a special role for the day because they’re all MOHs to me. So, one will stand up at the top with me, one is giving a reading during the ceremony, one will be signing the marriage certificate as a witness (this is done during the ceremony in Canada), and the 4th will be giving a toast during the reception.

The junior bridesmaids are a bit shy, but they’re excited to be my little buddies & helpers throughout the day. Plus I have a special song requested to play just for them.

None. My two adult sons are walking me down the aisle, but no bridesmaids or groomsmen. With our family and friends, it needed to be no one or everyone. So we chose no one.

We're under. 3 BM, 1 MOH, 4 GM, and 1 Best Man. I really wanted my brother in the WP, as he's my only sibling, and we are very close. So, if my FH hadn't decided to ask him, then I would have had him on my side as a Bridesman lol

Under.. None! We just felt that adding would make more confusion and stress. Its just our kids and that good enough. And they are just attending.. lol

Under! We have 7 on each side as of now (may be 6 on mine bc a friend of mine had a personal issue & needs to reconsider). I’m surprised 9 is the average lol I really feel like we already have a lot. However, FH’s best man is getting married in the Spring & I believe they have 12 on each side 😳

We have four and four on each side, but I am having his three daughters as my maids of honor, so that puts us way over. Plus two ring bearers and two ushers (all of my nephews). Go big or go home! LOL All but the best man are family members on both our sides.

    Over.

I have a Lady of Honor, and 4 BridesLadies (so as not to distinguish between married and unmarried)

My fiancee has her brother as Best Man (only man LOL), but her best friend (who is much more reliable - aka not flaky and forgetful) as Honor Guard Captain and 3 Honor Guard members.

Then we have my sister as our Herald (playing her trumpet for us to enter and exit - but walking in first after the Priest, choir and acolytes) my oldest nephew as an usher - who will then be walking his mom (my other sis - I have 4!) down the aisle and standing with all his Aunties (he will be 13), my niece as flower girl (8) and my younger nephew as ring bearer (3)

So a total of 14 standing in the front. (well 12-13 - the younger 2 kids will be able to sit with their dad or whoever my sis brings with them from Iceland)
