Quite a bit over. We had been dating 8.5 years when he proposed, and when we get married we'll have been together for a decade.

I met my FH 12 years ago. We dated for 7 years before we got engaged. People always felt the need to criticize “why are you waiting so long?” But honestly, it’s been an awesome journey together. We’ve supported each other through job losses, personal struggles, both of us finishing college, dealing with deaths in the family...he is my rock. We don’t regret a thing about waiting. On Friday, we will marry!

Under - engaged at a year. I knew very early on that he was my person though. We are in our 30s and I think I just know now more what I want. I love him to bits and can’t wait to be forever his 😊
