One year 7 months after we started dating

Our relationship/engagement has been a world wind, we got engaged 10 months after dating. However by the time we actually get married will have been dating 2 years. When you know you know.

5 years before he popped the questions. Got a lot of time to make sure I'm marrying the right one lol

Over! We dated for almost four years before he proposed. We had a few fights about that. I felt like since we were older, it should not have taken that long. He felt like he needed to be ready....he won and now we are getting married. Well worth the wait!

View Quoted Comment Well, it wasn’t quite the way he planned to say the least. Our birthdays are 5 days apart so we go away together every year to celebrate. This year we were in Mexico and he had planned to propose on my birthday, but that morning we received a call that his beloved dog had passed away so we flew back home three days early. I was sick from something I ate and he was devastated. It was and will be a memorable birthday for sure. So the next day after he had his dog creamated, I came over for dinner (which was toast for me due to my tummy issues) he proposed to me on his couch. It wasn’t as romantic as it would have been in our beautiful suite in Mexico, but all that mattered was that he finally asked and I definitely said yes.

Under - we were together a year and 3 months before he popped the question!
