Wayyyy Overrr!!!! We've been together 8 years. We dated for 3 years before moving together then we lived together for 4 years before getting engaged. Neither of us were in a rush for marriage although we both wanted it. I first feared marriage bc of divorce but time has definitely been good to our relationship. Now I can't wait.....8 months to go.

We got engaged in Dec 2017 just 6 months before our 12th anniversary. We’ll get married a month before our 15th. We needed to get to financially decent place. We did everything backwards. Got the house, had the baby & now engaged planning a wedding.

Over 2 years! It was about 3 and a half years!

So over. We dated for 8 years before getting engaged. It was over two more years before our wedding. This weekend is both two months married and our 11 year anniversary.

You dont have to justify your decisions! My fiance and I are in the same boat. We'll be together about a year on our wedding day. We were the same as you--we were both ready and decided this is what we wanted.

Under! We got engaged after 1 year 3 months of dating, but our engagement will be 1 year 9 months. So it evens out.

Eight years at the time of proposal, will be almost 9 years at the time of marriage

Over. 4 years and 7 months of dating before he popped the question. Totally worth it! The day we get married is the day before our 6 month dating anniversary.

We were best friends for 7.5 years before dating. Dated off an on for 5.5 years and will be getting married on our 13 year friendship anniversary, which is December 15th. So wayyyy over 2 years.
