Right now it’s way under. I spend a good of time looking at ideas online but once i decide on a venue, the rest of planning will most likely be a lot more time consuming

That's awesome Rashonda! Do you find yourself planning more at night or throughout the day?

I plan at night, since I work during the day. Some tasks may get done on the weekends if necessary. We aren't doing a big reception at all, so there really isn't much to plan to be honest!

I wanted to make the planning part as stress free as possible so in the beginning I excitedly would spend endless hours researching stuff when I was not busy at my office. By the time I realized I had so much information regarding ceremony and reception decorations, invitation samples, wording samples, guest list ideas, color ideas, cake decor, etc. I bought a wedding planner book from The Knot which has been a great guide and I started inputting printouts of the things that we liked, etc, etc. Those days I was easily doing 3-5 hours a day of pure research and planning, now that I am about 6 months out from the date its very minimal until about Feb, 2019 where we will be finalizing everything for the big day. Take the time when you can because you'll want to feel prepared for each of these choices.

This is hit or miss for us. We go weeks without doing anything then one weekend we will do over 40 hours of stuff.

I definitely thought about my wedding way more than 15 hours a week every week, but I wasn't always actively getting things done! Smiley winking

Does planning include dreaming? Planning it is way under, but just looking on Pinterest or playing around on here, probably more, haha.

Haha well I would ave over since I work about 60 ours a week. I am usually only actually working about 20-30 minutes out of every hour, and I am either on ww, tk, or excell (I love spread sheets) the rest of the time... Lol

Hmm..not sure. It changes so much depending on what I have going on..plus I do a lot while I'm work in between customers, so it's hard to keep track! Sometimes I feel like it's all I do is plan, sometimes I go a week and do nothing.
