Over wedding planning

Yep. When people ask me how planning is going I'm like "I'll be there, so will FH, that's all that truly matters".

So over it. It feels like school all over again... stuff I have to do but keep procrastinating...

Me! I have a 14 month engagement also and I am just ready for my day to be here.

I'm already right there with ya. we are down to little details now and it's driving me insane! Color of table cloths, what cups, what napkins, FH asked me what kind of plates I want the other day.

I want the ones you eat off of.

This is so me at this point. I did not realize there were so many little details as it gets closer (timeline, Ceremony program, etc).I thought this would be a breeze. The vendors were much easier. I am so over this!!!

I'm right there with you!! Feel so drained and tired-and I don't care about the menu and ceremony programs. I am excited to marry my FH, but we have all the important things and now I just feel impatient lol

Ugh I'm there too! I have a little over 5 months to go. We've been engaged about 13 months now. I'm exhausted. I mean i get so overwhelmed thinking about what I still have to do, I shut down a lot. I can't wait for the day to be here to enjoy our marriage and relationship. I want to just relax again on a day off !

It's totally normal I have 7 months left and everything is done but I'm making payments on things and every time I make a payment it's like am I spending too much? Can I downgrade now? etc Also I found my date twin @jj.

100% me. I am feeling the exact same way.

@elizabethh lmao! Right. As long as the plate can hold my food that's the one I want. Lol.

@qb I agree. Vendors were the easiest part of all. Hell even paying them was easy. Tryna figure out linen, seating chart, drapes, uplighting, etc is the part I can't do anymore. Lol.

Four months to go and I am SO there!! I am just so over it, and everything is so stressful.. All my friends are getting married, or having other huge life stresses that I don't even have anyone I can talk to about it.

Yes, I'm mentally and physically drained. When people ask me about the wedding I just smile and tell them "we're almost there". I'm just ready to get married, but I am going to do my best to take a step back and enjoy every moment of our big day.

Right there with you, I'm 65 days out and started with 15 months. My invitations were supposed to go out today, they're not going out until Friday, oh well. We have to pick music, our tasting is this weekend, other than that I'm just thinking "can it be may now?"

You're almost there! But I'm totally with you. I have 4ish months left and I'm just done. All major vendors booked but have been finishing smaller details, I'm just at the point of nixing most of the small stuff. Because who will really notice? When people ask me about the planning, I'm just like, we're pretty much done, and I change the subject. I don't even have the energy to talk about it much anymore. I'm so excited to marry my FH, but the planning was draining even though I usually love planning things.

You definitely aren't the same. I've been on a planning hiatus after taking care of the big things...now I'm dreading doing all of the small things.

I went through that too and now that I'm finally back into planning I'm having nightmares about it every night. I just keep thinking "I wish we'd eloped!"

Ha! Im soooo there with everyone else. Wedding designer asked what kind of bouquet I want, and I told to find one on my pinterest board;because I like all those!

I feel ya! I always wish I could just hire someone to do everything for me, and I show up on the big day and it's all taken care of. Wedding planning is so tedious!
