How did you guys choose what decorations to get?! I’m so overwhelmed by all the options and signs and knowing what I will need. I definitely want a welcome sign to put on an easel and some sort of memorial with pictures of people who are no longer with us. I’m just having a hard time knowing what space will need to be filled.

Does your venue have photos of how other weddings were set up? I've been looking at other weddings in our venue to get an idea of what spaces I have to decorate. Other than that I listed out the things I definitely want and then things that might be cool if there's room, and kind of went from there. I also used Pinterest quite a bit to get an idea of what types of decor might look cool in the types of spaces I have.

Great advice Jessi! I spent a lot of time looking online at Real Weddings at my wedding venue, and also trying to visualize where I would put things like a welcome sign if I wanted them!!
