Parent Gifts for Non-sentimental Bride

Victoria, on December 18, 2019 at 9:18 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I want to give my parents a gift to thank them for all they did for us. I don't really like the sentimental gifts like handkerchief, picture frame etc. I don't want to make anyone cry even if its for a happy reason, it is just awkward and uncomfortable for me.

I had an idea of getting my mom a ring she had been admiring from a local jewelry store. I need suggestions/ideas for gifts for my dad. I wanted to get him the apple watch but he just bought it so I need a new idea! My budget is $500 each or less.

With a $1000 budget, you could get your parents a great experience gift! Like maybe a short weekend trip somewhere for them to relax after all the wedding planning. Or dinner at a nice restaurant and tickets to the theater. Whatever events they enjoy doing together!

Maybe also think of things they like. for instance my dad has a big alcohol collection so we got him a limited edition of one of his fave brands

We brought them home gifts from our mini-moon to start. Once we get a professional pictures back, we're going to make the parents Shutterfly books as none of them are too tech savvy haha.
